Daren was given his first camera in the early 80's by his father, a fully manual film camera. His early experience was taking photos of exotic racing cars at Brands Hatch and Silverstone, although he found the hit and miss nature of analogue and film very frustrating, this made the creation of a good image all the more elusive and special. With the advent of digital he found it a much more rewarding experience and invested time into Landscape photography techniques.With a great love of the outdoors, Daren found time behind the camera was a great way to relax. Most of Darens photography time is either spent in the local area in Hertfordshire or on a family holiday, always making a detour to find a photo opportunity.
